My Baskets
I am a self-taught weaver with twelve years and hundreds of baskets of experience. I pride myself on using only the finest materials available in the construction, and close attention to detail creating a basket that will last for generations.
The baskets are woven from the finest imported reed. Occasionally a basket may also contain walnut, cherry or maple. The handles used are either hardwood or wire depending on the basket.
Each basket is finished with a tung oil based stain that provides a rich, protective finish to the basket.
Since each basket is woven by hand, no two baskets are ever exactly alike. Baskets that are stained or have dyed reed, may have a slightly different shade. This is due to the reed taking the stains or dyes differently. Wire baled handles may vary in style slightly due to availability of my suppliers. In the end your basket will be uniquely yours, with no other exactly like it!

Bean Pot Basket
8 inches high (excluding handle) by 8 inches in diameter.
This basket is reminiscent of the New England Bean Pot. It features a wire bale handle. It's rounded "pot-belly" shape makes this one of the most popular baskets with my customers.

3 Quart Berry Basket
4"H x 16" W x 8" D
This long shallow basket, with hardwood swing handles, will hold 3 quart-size berry boxes. It will also fit along the top of the flush for holding extra rolls of toilet paper, etc. Actually the uses for the basket are nearly endless!

This has been one of my most popular baskets. Keep magazines corralled, or use it in the car to keep track of necessities. The possibilities are endless. The hardwood bushel handle makes it easy to move around, and the chain of accent color is carried over into the rim to give it some extra pizzazz! You can choose to have a one inch stencil design bordered on each side by an accent color, instead of the chain of color.

Casco Bay Basket

Base: 3½" x 3½" Height 6½" Top opening flares to approx. 4½" wide.
This basket has a simple charm about it. Woven in alternating rows of natural and smoked reed, it features a heart tie on embellishment. It has a solid woven bottom and a hanger on the back, so it would be perfect for slipping a vase of fresh cut flowers into!

Designed for use with plastic shopping bags as a wastebasket, however this basket has been popular for many other uses. Crafter's love it's generous size for holding their latest project. Mom's love it for holding winter hats and mittens.
It features bushel handles and wooden feet. The wide strip can either be covered with fabric or a stenciled design. It has a cute wooden heart tied on the front with jute. The handles, feet and heart can be painted in the color of your choosing to complement the decorative strip.

This 40 inch, 8 hook basket hanger is a must for the basket collector! This is a great way to hang your baskets in a corner of a room for display. Mine actually hangs in my kitchen.
